Images are widely used in design and web content creation, and most image files are material files. Therefore, fine-tuning the transparency of image materials is very important. Whether it's PNG, WEBP, or other formats, we need to adjust their transparency level in an image editor to achieve better visual effects. When there are a large number of image materials that need to have their transparency adjusted uniformly, setting the transparency parameters one by one is too time-consuming, efficiency is practically nonexistent, and the consistency of the transparency effect after adjustment cannot be guaranteed. So, is there a method that can both unify image transparency and improve our efficiency?
This article will introduce a method for quickly batch setting a uniform transparency parameter for hundreds or even thousands of images, ensuring visual consistency. It allows us to significantly enhance the efficiency of overall design when processing image files such as icons, watermarks, or UI elements. Let's give it a try together!
When do you need to batch set a uniform transparency for a large number of images?
When creating promotional materials or PPTs that require a unified visual style
Many people use material images collected from the internet when creating promotional posters or company PPTs, but the brightness and contrast of the images are often inconsistent, making the overall picture look chaotic. At this point, adjusting a uniform transparency for all images can make their visual effects more harmonious, with backgrounds and text fitting together better, unifying the page style of the entire promotional material, making the document more professional and more comfortable to browse.
When creating product images or templates with a consistent style
For personnel in the e-commerce industry or media creators, they often need to batch produce hundreds of product display images or promotional covers. If the transparency adjustment differs for each picture, the page display will appear inconsistent and aesthetically unpleasing. By batch setting transparency, all image materials can maintain consistency in brightness and layering, making it easier to highlight the subject of the items.
Achieving visual unity in video and web design
When designers create video covers or need to place a large number of images in an APP interface, these images can easily distract from the main content if their transparency is not adjusted. After batch adjusting transparency, the images can immediately soften the background, not affecting the readability of text and icons, making the main visual part stand out.
