TXT is the most basic plain text format. When we need to batch remove redundant and invalid text information from TXT documents, but the TXT Notepad itself does not support automatic filtering, we can only open the find and replace window and input text one by one for replacement. Whether it's removing extra identifiers from text data or editing manuscripts to delete duplicate invalid text, manual replacement is very slow. If there are a large number of files, relying on this method will make batch deletion cumbersome, greatly wasting our work time and reducing efficiency.
This article will introduce a quick batch cleaning technique to help you easily delete text keywords in bulk!
When Do You Need to Delete Keywords in TXT Text Files?
Removing Sensitive Information
When processing TXT files containing sensitive data such as user names, phone numbers, or ID numbers, to protect personal privacy from being leaked or meet confidentiality requirements, you may need to delete specific keywords before public release or transmission to unrelated personnel.
Optimizing Text Files
Some keywords in text files may appear multiple times but have little impact on the actual meaning of the content. To reduce the size of the note and increase file processing speed, we can delete these meaningless or duplicate keywords to improve the document's readability and search efficiency.
Content Compliance
When publishing documents publicly, the content may include specific brand names, outdated phrasing, or content that does not comply with local policies, which is not suitable to remain in the document. Batch deletion can ensure the content meets review requirements and avoid potential risks.
