We all know that PDF files are not easy to edit, and you usually need a specialized PDF editor to modify the content within the file, which can be quite cumbersome. Here is a simpler and more direct method to quickly batch delete certain keywords in PDF documents, as well as delete all brackets and their contents according to a formula. If you need it, learn it now!
If you want to delete all parentheses and the text within them in a document, it’s easy to handle in a Word document by using the Find and Replace feature with wildcards for batch deletion. However, PDFs do not offer this functionality. Many people might think of converting the PDF to Word first, deleting the content completely, and then converting it back to PDF.
But this processing is not only cumbersome; the format can easily get messed up during the conversion process, requiring even more time to reformat. This significantly reduces efficiency.
If a PDF document could also perform batch Find and Replace, it would save a lot of trouble. Although we cannot directly perform Find and Replace in a PDF, we can use professional tools to batch delete all parentheses and the text within them in the document. Moreover, using professional tools can also process multiple PDF files at once, saving us considerable time and effort.
Scenarios Requiring the Deletion of All Parentheses and Text Within Them in a Document
1. Parentheses and their content in a document are often used to add supplementary explanations or notes, such as (see attachment) or (tentative). Deleting all this supplementary content can simplify the document, making it more formal and concise.
2. In many textbooks, exercise books, or exam papers, the content within parentheses often includes hints or answers. If these materials need to be distributed to students for practice and reference, the content in the parentheses must be deleted to generate "blank version" practice materials.
