In the online world where video content is abundant, videos carefully produced by creators or business operators are often reposted, edited, and stripped of watermarks by various marketing accounts as soon as they are published. In severe cases, these videos are directly uploaded as the thief's own work. Conventional corner watermarks are easily cropped or obscured, providing virtually no real protection. At such times, a full-screen watermark covering the entire frame often becomes the best solution. A semi-transparent logo pattern spreads across the whole video screen, and no matter how someone who saves the video crops it, the watermark will still be visible. However, when we have a large number of videos that need watermarks for protection, importing them one by one into editing software and going through a whole process is both time-consuming and labor-intensive, and it is also hard to ensure the final watermark effect.
This article will teach you a handy method for using this small tool to batch-add full-screen image or logo watermarks to multiple video files such as MP4, MOV, AVI, and more, covering each video frame with just the right density and transparency.
Why add full-screen image watermarks to videos?
Strengthen copyright protection
When a video is an original work, it is easily saved and republished by others. Adding a full-screen logo or image watermark that covers the entire frame makes it difficult to remove even by cropping or taking screenshots.
Prevent malicious re-uploading
Some people remove small watermarks from the corners of others' videos and re-upload them. A full-screen image watermark, distributed across the entire frame, is very hard to clean. Even if compressed or transcoded, the watermark persists, effectively reducing the risk of malicious re-uploading and making the video source clearer.
Distinguish video versions
After producing a company video, there may be different versions such as beta and official releases. Adding a full-screen image watermark clearly informs viewers about the purpose of the current version, facilitating subsequent operations.
