Video has become the most mainstream medium today. Whether it's vlogs, tutorials, or brand promotional clips, they are all disseminated in video form. However, if your hard-earned footage or creations are arbitrarily stolen, edited, or re-uploaded, your rights and interests will be compromised. Adding a custom logo watermark to your video is the most direct and effective means of protection, while also serving as an opportunity to expose your brand. Yet, when faced with dozens or even hundreds of video files, importing them one by one into editing software, adding logos, adjusting positions, and exporting—this whole process is not only cumbersome but also time-consuming. So, how can we batch add image watermarks to videos?
This article teaches you several useful methods on how to batch-add uniform image or logo watermarks to video files in multiple formats such as MP4 and MOV, automatically setting the size, transparency, and position. This way, the viewing experience is not affected while the copyright ownership of the video is clearly indicated.
When do you need to batch-add image watermarks to videos?
Protecting Original Content
After we create many original tutorial videos, product introductions, or Vlogs, we worry about others saving and directly reposting them on other websites. In this case, you can batch-add image watermarks to the videos, such as your own logo or account name. This way, no matter where it is forwarded, viewers can see the source information of the video.
Unifying Brand Image
If a company or team publishes videos, they usually want all videos to carry a uniform identifier. By batch-adding image watermarks, you can add the same logo to multiple videos at once without processing them individually. This not only saves time but also makes the style of all videos consistent and more professional.
Differentiating Video Usage
In work, some videos are for internal use while others are for external release. If they are not marked, the wrong version could easily be sent out. By batch-adding specific image watermarks, you can clearly distinguish different uses. When it's time for the official release, using the version without watermarks will be safer.
