Why convert odd-numbered PDFs to even-numbered pages?
Facilitate double-sided printing
When batch double-sided printing many merged PDFs, odd pages typically land on the front side of the paper and even pages on the back. However, if the total page count of a preceding document is odd, it can cause content from two different PDFs to be printed on the same sheet of paper. Therefore, we need to make the total page count of all original files even, which means inserting blank pages.
Avoid blank pages when binding
When documents are to be bound into a booklet, if the total page count is odd, the first page will be on the right, but the last page will also be on the right, resulting in an extra blank page on the left. By adjusting the page count to an even number, the beginning and end of the document will be in symmetrical left-right positions, making it more convenient to flip through after binding and giving it a neater and more professional overall appearance.
Facilitate cross-page viewing
Some PDF content requires viewing left and right pages side-by-side, such as tables, charts, or cross-page design drawings. If the page count is odd, this content might be forced onto separate pages, making comparison inconvenient. Adjusting to even pages allows the content that needs comparison to be distributed exactly across left and right pages, enabling the complete information to be seen as soon as it is opened without flipping back and forth.

Steps for batch adding blank pages to multiple odd-numbered PDFs
1. Open HeSoft Doc Batch Tool , select [PDF Tools] - [Convert Odd-Page PDF to Even Pages].
2. Choose a method in [Add Files] or [Import Files from Folder] to add the PDFs that need to be converted to even pages, or you can directly drag and drop files into the area below. Then click Next. After that, click Browse and select a save location for the new files.
3. Wait for the file processing to finish, then open the save folder to view all the PDFs that have been converted from odd-numbered pages to even-numbered pages.
