How can I uniformly adjust the transparency of a bunch of PNG images so that they present a more harmonious visual effect in overlay layouts, background blending, or design? When creating posters or social media graphics, we often need to process the transparency of a large number of images. Some images need their transparency lowered to serve as a background foil, while others require subtle transparency adjustments to enhance the sense of depth in the composition. If we manually process each image individually, facing hundreds or even thousands of images, it is not only tedious and repetitive but can also lead to inconsistent transparency across each image, making the overall design very chaotic. Is there a way to batch-adjust multiple PNG images at once, synchronizing the transparency settings for all images in one go?
Why adjust the transparency of PNG images?
Convenient image overlay
When creating a PPT or designing, it is often necessary to overlay one image on another. Without adjusting transparency, the top image will completely block the content below. Properly adjusting transparency allows the underlying image or text to show through, creating visually rich layered effects.
Used for image watermarks
Normally, we need to add image watermarks, but if the watermark is not semi-transparent, it will obscure the main content. Lowering the transparency of the watermark image to a semi-transparent state and then applying it allows you to indicate ownership without interfering with the content itself.
Softening for easier compositing
When we place a cut-out subject onto a new background, the edges often appear harsh, as if pasted on. By adjusting transparency and creating a fading effect, the subject and background can blend naturally, leaving no visible seam. Lowering the transparency also makes the effect softer.

Steps to batch modify transparency of multiple PNG images
1. Open the HeSoft Doc Batch Tool , select [Image Tools] - [Image Effect Enhancement].

2. In [Add Files] or [Import Files from Folder], choose a method to add the images whose transparency needs to be adjusted. You can also directly drag and drop images into the area below, then click Next.

3. Enter the settings interface, turn on the [Opacity] switch, use the slider to adjust the image transparency. After setting, click Next again. Then click Browse to choose the save location for the new files.

4. After processing is complete, click the red path to open the folder and view the images with successfully modified transparency.
