When printing and binding PDF files, due to small margins, content is often cut off, resulting in incomplete documents. Therefore, we need to increase the margins of the PDF. Here's a method that allows you to customize margin sizes and enlarge PDF margins. It also supports batch adjustment of margins for multiple PDFs, eliminating the need to process them one by one manually. It's very convenient and can save us a lot of time.
When You Must Increase PDF Page Margins
1. Content Gets Cut Off When Printing
When we print a PDF file, if the page margins are too small or not large enough, the text and tables in the document will be flush against the edges, leading to missing characters or border lines in the printout. This not only looks unappealing but also results in content loss. Therefore, we must increase the PDF's page margins before printing.
2. Binding PDFs into a Booklet
When we print a PDF file for binding into a booklet, if the margins are not large enough, the punch holes will cover the text, or the text will crowd against the binding edge. This looks very messy and hinders readability. In this case, you also need to increase the PDF's page margins to ensure the text content is centered and unobstructed.
3. Needing to Add Annotations or Markups
When reading papers, electronic contracts, or study materials, you often need to make annotations and markups. Increasing the PDF's page margins provides ample blank space for writing notes. This way, our notes won't be squeezed together with the document's main text.

Steps to Batch Increase PDF Page Margins
1. Open ' HeSoft Doc Batch Tool ', and select 'PDF Tools' -> 'Add Page Margins to PDF'.

2. Add all the PDFs that need processing. Click 'Add Files' or 'Import Files from Folder'. Direct drag-and-drop is also supported.

3. Set the processing range to 'All Pages', or customize it according to your needs. Taking 'centimeters' as the unit of length, you can adjust the top, bottom, left, and right page margins by entering a value. Here, we set all four margins to '2.0 centimeters'.

4. Choose a save location and wait for the tool to finish processing. Finally, click the red output path directly to view the results, where all the PDF page margins have been increased.
