In today's world where digital assets are increasingly valued, simply relying on a small logo watermark in the corner is hardly effective at preventing image theft. Those identifiers placed at the edges of images are often easily cropped out or covered up, offering no real protection. Therefore, using full-screen image watermarks has become the best solution, ensuring every image is marked with an indelible identity tag. However, when faced with hundreds or even thousands of product photos, design drafts, or photographic works that need protection, manually adding full-screen watermarks one by one—just the repeated opening and adjusting alone—can exhaust our patience and time.
This article explores how to add full-screen image or logo watermarks to a large batch of images. Whether it's a single large logo or a tiled pattern of small logos, they can be neatly spread across the entire frame of every image. Follow along and give it a try!
Why Add Full-Screen Image Watermarks to JPG and PNG Images?
Strengthen Copyright Awareness
When photographic works or design posters are original creations, images in JPG or PNG format are easily downloaded and used directly by others. Adding a full-screen logo or image watermark can cover the entire picture. Even if it is cropped or partially cut, it is very difficult to remove completely.
Prevent Malicious Misuse
Some images may contain product information, promotional content, or materials. If altered and republished by others, it could cause misinformation. After adding a full-screen image watermark, the watermark remains even after secondary editing, clearly identifying the source of the image.
Distinguish Different Versions
Images in the workflow often have different versions, such as drafts and final copies. Without marking them, they can easily be mixed up. Adding a full-screen image watermark allows clear distinction of their purpose, avoiding mistaken distribution or use. Once the final version is confirmed, the watermark can be removed before publishing.
