After creating a PowerPoint slideshow, you often need to display the PPT content on different devices. When encountering incompatible software systems or devices, it can easily lead to layout errors or font display issues. Converting to JPG can resolve most of these problems, while also allowing you to adjust the PPI. A lower PPI results in a blurrier image with a smaller file size, while a higher PPI delivers a clearer image with a larger file size. When sharing PPT slideshows on social platforms or websites, the file size is usually too large and transmission is very cumbersome. By adjusting the PPI and converting to images for transfer, you'll find the file size is not only smaller, but the images are nearly identical to the original, without losing details due to compatibility issues. However, in production or printing scenarios, directly exporting images using a fixed PPI value may result in very poor image quality and significantly lower clarity than the original, failing to meet printing output or poster-making standards. In this case, increasing the PPI value can make the image present higher-quality details, ensuring the picture is clearer and more professional. So, if we have many PPTX presentations that need to be converted into images, how should we adjust the PPI to ensure the images are not blurry or distorted?
1. Usage Scenario
When many PPT slides are used to create posters, display boards, or other materials that require printing, the default JPG export quality is often not high enough to meet printing standards. In this case, increasing the PPI before converting to JPG can ensure image quality and make the images clearer.
