Word document set as only annotation and no setting.
Word documentonly annotation
when the Word document is set to only annotation mode, users cannot directly modify the body content in the document, but they can comment on the body and put forward their own ideas and suggestions by inserting annotations. This setting is usually used in scenarios where the original text needs to be protected, such as the review of some important or official documents. In the annotation-only mode, the document creator can ensure that the core content is not changed due to misoperation or malicious tampering, and at the same time, users can also provide their own ideas and feedback.
The teacher who consulted the student's paper can make comments and suggestions on it, or send the company's proposal to the customer to ensure that the original text is correct and put forward their own feedback. Finally, in the annotation mode, each user will have a time record and a user nickname when commenting, which is convenient for our subsequent communication and confirmation, and greatly improves the integrity and processing efficiency of the document.
No restrictions on Word documents
word, which does not set up only comments, allows users to modify, delete or retype the original text directly under any circumstances, completely open. It usually occurs at the very beginning of a team project, requiring collaboration and editing by multiple people to facilitate team discussion of records and improve work efficiency. Although the efficiency has improved, it will also be accompanied by risks. If Word is too open, the content will be lost due to operational errors, or the unedited records will make it difficult to trace the responsibility later.
In some formal occasions, openness will make documents questioned and greatly reduce their credibility. All documents that do not add restrictions are not recommended when dealing with more sensitive and formal Word documents. However, if there is simple collaboration between teams, using this mode can greatly improve our work efficiency and enable each team member to add his own ideas.
