When we use a mobile phone to take photos of documents, the resulting pictures often have a gray or black background due to lighting conditions. This causes the text to appear unclear and leads to poor print quality. To address this issue, here is a very practical method that can batch remove the background color of scanned documents, making the text display more clearly, improving print quality, and facilitating document organization and archiving.
Turning scanned documents with shadows and black-gray backgrounds into clean white backgrounds with black text is a very common need at work.
For example, contracts, exam papers, assignments, and other documents we take photos of with our phones often come out with shadows and lack clarity. This not only affects readability but also appears unprofessional when sent to clients. Additionally, if you want to print these phone-captured paper documents, the shadows and background colors greatly impact print quality and make archiving inconvenient.
In such cases, we need to transform file photos or scanned documents into a clean white-background-with-black-text effect, removing the dark paper background so the text is preserved clearly.
This skill is very practical in daily study, life, and work. Mastering it can solve many problems. Therefore, let's go through the specific operation methods below. Not only can you make the text in scanned photos clearer, but you can also process tens of thousands of images at once, efficiently automating batch processing to avoid tedious manual operations, saving time and effort!

Steps for batch converting photo files to a white-background-with-black-text effect
1. Open HeSoft Doc Batch Tool , choose Picture Tools → Image Effect Enhancement.

2. Click Add Files or import files from a folder to add all the photos you need to process here. There is no limit on the number of files; you can import hundreds of photos at once without doing it in batches, greatly saving your time.

3. Select Text Clarity, then freely drag the slider to adjust the value to a suitable position. Here we set it to 45%.

4. Once processing is complete, directly click View Save Location. All your files have now been turned into a white-background-with-black-text effect, with clearer text. Now, whether for archiving or printing, you don't have to worry anymore!
