When a formula reference in an Excel spreadsheet is incorrect, or when you need to replace the original calculation formula with a new one as required, we all need to batch replace formula references in the spreadsheet. To avoid the tedium of repetitive work, here's a tip: you can batch replace calculation formulas in an Excel spreadsheet with one click, achieving precise one-to-one replacement. The steps are also very simple, and you can learn it in just one minute!
Usage Scenarios for Batch Replacing Formulas in Excel Spreadsheets
1. Overall adjustment of calculation logic
Originally, the calculation formulas in the spreadsheet performed addition. Now, based on business requirements, the data needs to be changed to multiplication, division, or averaging, etc. For a single spreadsheet, you might be able to modify it manually, but if you have dozens or even hundreds of Excel spreadsheets that all need their formula logic modified, you will require a professional batch processing tool.
2. Uniformly correcting incorrectly written formulas
If the formulas in the spreadsheet referenced the wrong operators, they need to be completely corrected.
3. Adapting calculation logic to different scenarios
For the same spreadsheet template, different calculation methods need to be applied under different scenarios. For example, in Project A, all data in the spreadsheet needs to be added, while in Project B, all data in the spreadsheet needs to be multiplied.
4. Modifying calculation formulas based on raw data
If the raw data in the Excel spreadsheet has changed, the corresponding calculation formulas must be adjusted accordingly. For instance, previously the data was "quantity + freebies quantity" to calculate the total quantity; but if the new data table changes to quantity and unit price, the calculation formula must also be changed to "quantity × unit price".
