When handling a large number of TXT text files at work, which contain keywords that need unified processing—such as names and phone numbers that need to be hidden, or notes that are no longer needed—we usually rely on find-and-replace to make modifications. But when there are dozens or even hundreds of similar TXT files, opening each one to perform find-and-replace is not only tedious and boring, but may also lead to errors due to oversight, making it difficult to ensure consistency in file processing. So how can we quickly batch-modify and replace keywords in multiple TXT text files?
Here is a practical method for everyone to replace all specified text with another text, so that all designated content in TXT files can be precisely batch replaced. The other text, file names, and overall structure remain unchanged, making our text processing work efficient and worry-free.
Why batch replace text in TXT files?
Faster content modification
When multiple TXT files need to adjust the same segment of text, if you open and manually modify them one by one, it is not only time-consuming but also prone to missed changes. For example, scenarios like company name updates or customer contact information changes may involve a large number of files to process. By batch modifying files, you can complete the changes in one go, significantly saving our working time.
Reduce human modification errors
Manually modifying texts one by one makes it easy to make typos or omissions due to negligence, and this is more likely to happen when the number of files is large. Batch replacement can uniformly modify according to the set content, avoiding inconsistencies across different files. This is both worry-free and error-reducing, keeping the text content consistent.
Unify overall content
Sometimes it is necessary to unify certain texts into standard content, such as updating old version names to new ones, or adjusting some non-standard content. Using batch replacement can ensure that all TXT files are consistent in wording, avoiding confusion.

Enter the text to be replaced from the TXT files below the Find Keywords list, and enter the new replacement text below the Replace With Keywords list. Finally, click Next. Then click Browse to select the save location for the new files.

4. Wait for the processing to complete, then click the path inside the red box to open the save folder. We can then see that all the imported TXT files have been successfully replaced.
