When processing electronic documents or managing them, we often need to batch delete multiple specified keywords or sensitive content from PDF files. Unlike editable Word documents, PDF format is generally fixed in layout, making it extremely difficult for us to directly modify the text content. Using ordinary editing to delete these texts not only requires repeated searching, locating, and replacing, but also easily disrupts the original layout and formatting.
Whether it's expired clauses in corporate documents, data that needs to be hidden before public release, or employee names and departments in old files, scattered keywords across multiple document pages can all be deleted in one batch at once. This article will show you how to batch delete unwanted text content from a large number of PDF files in just three seconds, helping you quickly improve work efficiency and save time. Let's try it together!
When do you need to batch delete keywords in PDF files?
Protect sensitive information
Some PDF files containing sensitive information may need specific keywords deleted before public release to ensure the information is not misused or illegally disseminated, such as personal names, ID numbers, or corporate confidential content.
Update file content
Corporate documents or published books and periodicals may occasionally require batch deletion or replacement of certain keywords due to partial policy changes and brand updates and iterations. For example, after a company changes its name, old documents involving the old company name must all be updated or have the old name or terminology deleted to keep the file content up-to-date.
Avoid legal topics
When processing cross-border PDF files, certain terms may touch upon local laws, policies, and sensitive topics. To avoid such disputes, companies typically choose to batch delete these terms to ensure that the documents comply with relevant local policies and regulations.
