In enterprise team collaboration environments, teams often generate PowerPoint files scattered across multiple folders. These files are organized by department, client, or each quarter, and while each folder may contain multiple slide files from different people, merging all the PowerPoint files in each corresponding folder into a single coherent file is crucial for subsequent execution and material collection. If we were to merge them by copying and pasting slides one by one, not to mention the fatigue caused by repetitive processing, there would also be risks of damaging formatting and losing key content such as animations. So, how can we merge all PowerPoint files in each folder into multiple complete presentations while preserving the design and structure of the original slides?
Here's a method to batch merge all PowerPoint files within each folder, ensuring every merged PPT maintains its original quality and consolidates scattered files together. Let's give it a try.
When do you need to merge all PPTs from multiple folders into separate individual files?
PPT Classification and Integration
With many folders on a computer, each containing a pile of PPTs, the content is quite scattered, making it very tedious to flip through. By merging the PPTs in each folder into one large PPT file, each category gets a clear integration. You can view all the content by opening it once, eliminating the issue of missing dozens of files.
Submitting File Summaries
Sometimes, a leader or colleague might ask you to organize materials on different topics, requiring only one final version per topic. If each folder contains a bunch of fragmented PPTs, opening, copying, pasting, and merging them one by one not only risks messing up the order but potentially losing formats and animations. If we automatically merge the PPTs from each folder into a corresponding single file, it perfectly generates multiple files, one neat package per topic.
Convenient for Viewing and Previewing
When studying, training, or giving a lecture, if materials are split into dozens of PPTs, you'll need to constantly switch files during the speech, which is not only troublesome but also easy to disrupt your flow. After merging the PPTs from each folder into one large file, you only need to open one to fully display all content. It's smoother, less chaotic, and you won't worry about not finding the next file midway through.
