PowerPoint presentations often contain important content, and before being shared, some identifying text is usually added to the files, such as company confidential, do not distribute, etc. These watermarks remind everyone who views the PPT to be mindful of the document's nature, preventing accidental misuse or leakage. When we have a large number of PPT files, each containing dozens of slides, manually inserting text watermarks on every single page is time-consuming and laborious, and it's hard to ensure consistent watermark styles across pages later. So, how can we quickly batch-add standardized text watermarks to every page of multiple PPT files in the shortest time?
This article will discuss how to batch add uniform text watermarks to every page of a PPT, so that the same identifying text appears with consistent font, size, color, transparency, and angle across every file. Whether previewing on a computer or presenting via projector afterwards, this enhances professionalism.
When should you add text watermarks to every page of a PPT file?
Indicating file status
During presentations or demonstrations, many PPTs are still in the revision stage and are not final products. If sent directly to colleagues or clients, they might be mistaken for the official version. Adding text watermarks like "Draft" or "For Reference Only" to every page clarifies the file's current status and prevents misuse.
Protecting company materials
Some PPT content involves internal company data and information that shouldn't be casually disseminated. By batch adding text watermarks such as "Confidential - Do Not Distribute" to the files, a warning is provided. Even if the file is forwarded, those who see the watermark will be more cautious.
Enhancing recognition
When presenting externally or promoting PPTs, companies usually add their company name as a text watermark on every page. This way, whether presenting or sharing the PPT, the corporate image is reinforced. Even if someone saves only a few individual pages, the source information remains clearly visible.
