Many people do not know, in fact, the file creation time, modification time, access time can be modified. If we want to set the modification date of the file to a specified time, or randomly set it within a certain time range, we can easily do it through this method. The following is to teach you how to change the modification time of files in batches. It can be completed in 3 simple steps. If necessary, collect them quickly for later use!
When to change file modification time
1. When sorting out data, some documents are old documents from a long time ago, but the modification time has changed due to recent copying, pasting or other operations. Therefore, it is necessary to change the date of these documents back to the correct time to facilitate the filing by year and month to avoid confusion.
2. Set the modification date of the same batch of files to the same day or within a certain month, and then sort them according to the modification date, these files will be automatically arranged in order, which is more convenient for us to quickly find files.
3. When files are migrated, such as from the old server to the new server, or from the local to the cloud, sometimes the system will automatically change the time. We need to manually change the modification time of the file to the original time to keep the historical record consistent.
