When archiving various files, there are many files mixed with Chinese and English. It is necessary to distinguish Chinese characters from English letters for easy management and quick file search. If many files with Chinese names and American names are in the same folder, how can you classify these name files using the first occurring Chinese or English character? The following describes how to distinguish a large number of files based on the first occurring Chinese character or letter in the file name and place them into newly created folders.
1. Use Cases
Create a folder based on the first Chinese character or English letter that appears in the file name, and organize files that share the same first Chinese character or English letter into that folder.
For example: With three files named 1994-2-14李娜.docx, 1992-7-22Sarah Williams.xlsx, and 1985-11-5David Brown.pptx, you need to categorize them by the first appearing Chinese character or English letter, placing them into folders newly created based on 李, S, and D respectively.
