When naming files after creating multiple files, in order to carefully distinguish them based on content and purpose, file names are assigned in numerical order, making the files more orderly and easier to manage. Once the classification criteria are determined, the next step is to consolidate these files for easier searching and retrieval management. The following describes how to use the first number in the file names of a large number of files to classify the files as a whole.
1. Usage Scenario
Classify files based on the first number found in the file name and move them into newly created numbered folders.
For example: Excel 1.xlsx, JPG 2.jpg, PDF 3.pdf
After classification by the first number, move them into the newly created numbered folders 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
