PDF has multiple versions, each with different features and improvements, adapting to evolving technical requirements and scenarios. For example, PDF/A is a format specifically designed for long-term archiving, which can be used to preserve documents for future use, ensuring they can still be opened and viewed normally later. At the same time, PDF/A also supports metadata and text search, enabling efficient retrieval and management of document archives. The following explains how to convert a large number of PDF files into PDF/A version files in one go.
1. Usage Scenarios
When you have hundreds or thousands of PDF files that need to be preserved long-term for future use, or need to submit PDFs in PDF/A format to institutions, archives, etc., you can batch convert them directly to PDF/A format to ensure the files can be uploaded normally and remain accessible later.
2. Steps
Open HeSoft Doc Batch Tool , select [PDF Tools] - [Convert PDF to Other Versions of PDF].

[Add Files] Add single or multiple PDF files to be converted to PDF/A format.
[Import Files from Folder] Import all PDF files from the selected folder.
