When we deal with historical documents, collate data, or unify the metadata of project documents, those obscure timestamps tend to disrupt our classification and even affect the management of documents. Today and everyone to talk about this easily overlooked, but very practical tips! How to accurately adjust the access time in the PDF file attribute so that the opening time of the document is perfectly synchronized with the time you expect. Here is a practical tip for everyone to flexibly set up these metadata, improve the neatness of documents, and avoid unnecessary confusion of time information when cooperating and sharing. Come and try it with me!
When to modify PDF file attributes in the access time?
Tomaintain file operation consistency
the access time automatically recorded by the system sometimes does not reflect the real file usage. For example, after file backup, migration, or batch processing, the access time may be accidentally updated. Manually adjusting the access time can make the time information more accurately match the actual file activity track and avoid misleading time records.
Help with document management
when a large number of PDF files need to be sorted or retrieved in chronological order, accurate access time can help users quickly locate documents that have been processed within a specific time. Adjusting the time in metadata can make file sorting more in line with actual workflow, reduce the time required for searching, and improve the convenience of document sorting.
Meet archiving requirements
during project archiving or compliance review, it may be necessary to ensure that the time stamp of the file strictly corresponds to the actual time of occurrence. By adjusting the time information in the PDF properties, the document record can be synchronized with the work process to meet regulatory management requirements.
