Managing and categorizing folders during office work is an essential behavior for long-term file storage, allowing us to clearly define folder types and quickly find the files we need. To make folders easier to find, we often add uniform text content before folder names to indicate their purpose and date. Teams working on a project may go through several stages, with multiple folders from drafts to reviews and finally to the completed version. During these stages, we can add different text prefixes for each stage to help team members intuitively see which projects have not been followed up, processing folders in order of delay to significantly improve work efficiency. Similarly, companies managing files across multiple departments can batch add year and date information to the beginning of folder names, allowing for quick retrieval of data files from different years, making it easier to manage various files. Whether for businesses, teams, or individual users, batch adding the same text to folders helps manage files more systematically. So how can we add uniform text to all selected folders?
1ćUsage Scenarios
When a team starts a project and creates many new folders to store materials, to distinguish these new folders from old ones, we can batch add the same text content to the front of these new folder names. This allows us to instantly see which category the folder belongs to and makes searching easier, avoiding confusion with old folders.
