When the file is used in different situations, the name of the file will be modified. When sorting out files needs to classify files according to types or when the names of files need to be updated, the names of files need to be modified. If only a few files need to be modified, just modify them directly in the location where the files are saved. However, when multiple files need to be modified in name, it is very complicated and inefficient to modify one file by one. The following describes how to find the same keyword on the file names in multiple folders for batch replacement. Files in different formats such as docx, pptx, xlsx, txt, pdf are supported.
1. Use Scenarios
find and modify the keywords in a file name in the folder. The same keywords in the names of a large number of files can also be replaced in batches.
For example: multiple 2024 of the same keyword-Test files.docx, 2024-Test files.pdf, 2024-Test files.xlsx file
you need to replace the 2024 with 2025.
After modification, it becomes 2025-Test files.docx, 2025-Test files.pdf, 2025-Test files.xlsx
